It listens for Android's RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED broadcast, which the system sends once at the end of every startup, and records the current time.
Can the same reboot be logged twice?
No. RebootMonitor also checks the device's boot counter, so a restart is only ever recorded once, even if the broadcast is somehow delayed or repeated.
How long is reboot history kept?
Up to 12 months. Older entries are removed automatically, so the local database never grows without limit.
Does tracking reboots require extra permissions?
